TS Partners has
announced the recent hiring of Kenneth R. Nilson to support
the company’s growing shareholder recordkeeping software
support business. In this new role, Nilson
will be responsible for client support, sales, marketing and
office management.
Mr. Nilson was previously a Senior Vice President responsible for
managing the activities of the Corporate Trust Department at
TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank) to ensure the effective
delivery of its services as Bond Trustee, Bond Registrar,
Paying Agent, Escrow Agent and Custodian. Mr. Nilson
established the Commerce Bank trust department in 1991 and
successfully grew its Bond Trustee business into a top 10
nationally ranked player. Mr. Nilson has held similar
positions with First Fidelity Bank, The First National Bank of
Toms
River, and Bankers Trust Company. He has served as a committee
member of the American Bankers Association Corporate Trust
Committee and Chairman of the Corporate Trust Committee for
the New Jersey Bankers Association Trust Division. Prior to
entering the banking industry, he was employed as a financial
administrator by the New Jersey Health Care Facilities
Financing Authority.
Mr. Nilson is a graduate of Rutgers University where he earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in both accounting and business
administration. He is a Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS)
member of the American Bankers Association’s Institute of
Certified Bankers since 1997. |
